Kythira Pass 2026 is a financial aid action to stimulate domestic tourism in Kythira. Applications for the program begin on May 14, 2026 and will remain open until May 18, 2026. [1]

Basic Information on Amount & Beneficiaries

  • Amount of Aid: Beneficiaries will receive a dematerialized digital debit card of 250 euros.
  • Number of Beneficiaries: The program concerns a total of 3,600 beneficiaries.
  • Use of Amount: The card can be used exclusively for accommodation, dining and local transport expenses on the island. The amount is non-seizable and tax-free. [1]

Implementation Periods

The action will be carried out in two distinct phases: [1]
Phase A: May – June 2026.
Phase B: September – October 2026.
It is noted that August is excluded from the program.

Application Process

Platform: Applications are submitted electronically through the single digital portal vouchers.gov.gr.
Business Requirements: The digital card is accepted in businesses that have a POS and operate in the relevant sectors (tourism, catering) in Kythira. [1]

Beneficiaries of the program are:

Who are the beneficiaries and beneficiaries
Adult tax residents of Greece
Single, married or in a civil partnership
Based on the 2024 tax return

Beneficiaries are considered:
The spouse or partner
The dependent children

Who are excluded from the Kythira Pass

Cannot participate:
Those who have already been selected for a Social Tourism program 2025-2026 or 2026-2027 (DYPA)
Those who receive a corresponding subsidy from another body
Those who have their main residence in Kythira

How to apply – Step by step

The procedure is carried out through gov.gr, using TAXISnet codes.

The beneficiary:
  1. Connects to the platform
  2. Confirms his/her details
  3. States contact details
  4. Selects destination (Kythira)
  5. Declares participation phase
The phases are:
Phase 1: May – June 2026
Phase 2: September – October 2026

Alternatively, the application can also be made through KEP.

How do you receive the money

The beneficiaries who will emerge from the draw:

They will receive a dematerialized digital debit card
They will be informed via SMS and email
They will activate the card electronically

Important: The amount is not transferred, cannot be withdrawn and is only used in cooperating businesses.
