The longest beach in Kythira!
Paleopolis beach is located in the settlement of the same name, on the eastern side of the island, it is the largest beach in Kythira. It consists of sand and fine pebbles. Access if you are heading from the northern part of the island is from Livadi, while if you are heading from Kapsalis via Kalamos. The road to the beach is all asphalt, at the entrance to the beach there is a car park. Paleopolis in the summer season has a basic organization in one part of it. A few kilometers from the beach is the picturesque village of Avlemonas.
