An exotic paradise with fine white sand, very shallow waters ideal for children and the famous Nordland shipwreck.<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>Diakofti beach<\/strong> is one of the most impressive destinations in Kythera, offering an authentic experience of exotic scenery on the eastern side of the island, right next to the main port.<\/p>\r\n<p>Although small in size, the coast attracts visitors with its <strong>fine, white sand<\/strong> and the green waters that strongly resemble a tropical lagoon.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><strong>Accessibility &#038; Parking:<\/strong> Access is extremely easy by road. At the entrance to the beach you will find a comfortable, free car park.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Organization &#038; Infrastructure:<\/strong> During the summer season, a section of the coast has basic organization with umbrellas and sun loungers, while the rest remains free. The surrounding area is fully developed, offering quality accommodation, traditional restaurants with fresh fish and seaside cafes.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Suitability for Families:<\/strong> The beach is absolutely ideal and safe for families with small children. It has <strong>very shallow, quiet and windless waters<\/strong>, while its <strong>very fine sand<\/strong> is perfect for endless and safe play on the shore.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>The Attraction (Shipwreck &#8220;Nordland&#8221;):<\/strong> A very short distance from the coast, on the islet of Prasonisi, lies the famous shipwreck of the cargo ship &#8220;Nordland&#8221;, which ran aground there in 2000.
