Picturesque village Diakofti!<\/b> \r\nIt is located west of Kythira. It is coastal and is the main port of the island with connections from Piraeus, Crete, Gytheio and Neapoli in Laconia. It has a calm beach with fine sand, and traditional houses built along it. A few years ago, just outside the port, a Russian ship was wrecked and there it remained half-submerged on dry land, where today it is an attraction. In Diakofti there are tourist accommodation units, cafes and restaurants.<\/p> \r\n<\/div>
