Day 1: Chora and the secrets of History<\/h2>\r\n

The morning light bathes Chora, the capital of the island, one of the most beautiful villages of Kythira<\/a>. The cobblestone alleys with the mansions seem to whisper stories of centuries. Start your walk from the Venetian Castle, where the sky meets the sea. At noon, enjoy your meal in the most beautiful square of Kythera under the shade of the centuries-old plane trees.The next step finds you at Kaladi beach, one of the most beautiful in Kythera<\/strong>, with its double omega-shaped bays. Crystal clear waters, wild beauty, sculpted rocks. The descent may be a bit difficult, because there are quite a few steps, but once you arrive, you will feel like you have discovered a personal paradise. In the evening, look for a tavern in one of the small villages, such as Avlemonas or Mitata. Try local delicacies, such as ladopassimada and eggplant salad, and accompany them with local wine.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n

Day 3: Hiking and a farewell full of promises<\/h2>\r\n

If you love hiking, Kythira offers unique routes on marked hiking trails<\/a>. Walk to the Moudari Lighthouse, the northernmost point of the island with a view of the mountains of the southern Peloponnese. There, the wind sings along with the waves, while your gaze is lost in the blue horizon. In the afternoon, Karavas, a small village full of springs and plane trees, calls you. There, try the famous Kythera rusks and feel the taste of the place.As the afternoon arrives, sit in a caf\u00e9 with a view and watch the sunset.
