On the main road of the traditional village of Mylopotamos, one of the most beautiful villages in Kythira, is the Symveni grocery store. It is housed in a recently restored neoclassical building, and has modern equipment.
In the grocery store you will get pure homemade products, prepared based on authentic local recipes. A wide variety of jams, spoon sweets such as orange blossom and rose, which in most cases are made from local fruits.
You will also find thyme honey, traditional noodles and pasta, homemade oil nuts, fresh local eggs, local salt, but also other local sweets from Kythira.
Also during the summer season you will find fresh fruit, vegetables, all the necessary food for your kitchen from famous brands, such as pasta, juices, soft drinks, dairy products, cheeses and ice creams.
